Mastering your harvest

The Big Lunch Picnic

Enjoy a fun family friendly picnic lunch to live music. Bring your own food and enjoy it with freshly picked salad from the community garden. A flask of hot water will enable you to make fresh herbal tea too.
Friend and Foe: wildlife gardening and managing pests

Getting a healthy organic food garden is about managing wildlife; encouraging the good and protecting against the bad. Taste of London

This years Taste of London food festival will be sure to delight again with live demos from some of the world’s top chefs including Ben Tish and Marcus Wareing, brand new Wild Kitchen and other cookery and recipe workshops, a tipple to suit any taste, live music, silent disco and much more. Edible Flowers Celebration By Edible Landscapes
Saturday 20th June 16:00 | Finsbury Park, N4
Learn all about what flowers don’t just look pretty in your garden but can be great for eating too! A free lunch is being laid on by Edible Landscapes featuring edible flowers at the plant nursery and training centre. It’s open all day but lunch it’self is served at 4pm. Foodies Festival
3rd – 5th July 11:00 – 20:00 | Alexander Palace, N22
One of the biggest food festival events of the year with lots of music, food and drink to be had. There will be chef demos, children’s cooking classes and a tasting masterclasses for exotic food and for those looking to refine their knowledge in wine, champagne and beer, all run by experts in their fields. Growing In Small Spaces & Containers

A popular workshop for those interested in trying to grow their own in an urban environment. London Permaculture Festival

Walthamstow Garden Party & Appetite Festival

Escape to Walthamstow for some summer fun at this great mini art and food festival put on by Barbican, Create London, Real Food Festivals and Waltham Forest.
