This delicious easy to make healthy protein bar recipe by Louise Houghton will hopefully inspire you to break out your kitchen scales and get busy. It takes just 15 mins to prepare with 35 mins baking time when you can get on with something else.
Their super quick to make and taste delicious. This recipe is gluten free, packed with nutrition and loads of healthy goodness. I’ve tried a number of different protein bars on sale in the shops and never found one that I really liked. We hope that you will love this one as much as we do.
Ingredients:
- 100g Dates
- 200ml Orange juice
- 100g Porridge oats
- 50g Hemp seeds
- 25g Protein Powder
- 25g Ground Almonds*
- 50g Cranberries
- 2tbsp Hemp oil
- 1tsp Lime Juice
*Ingredients note: You can buy almonds ready ground in a packed but they taste much better if you buy whole nuts. Roast them in the oven for 5-10 mins at 180 degrees centigrade, then grind them down in a grinder or food processor to a small grain.
