Nutritionists Rose and Tamara teach you how to cook healthy festive dishes such as chestnut, shallot and mushroom pie for a guilt-free Christmas. The class will run from 1 – 3pm with a suggested donation fee of £5 to cover the costs of ingredients. If you love your pork you’ll love this pop up serving delicious Berkshire pork picnic plates. Stepney are committed to raising high welfare meat and reducing food waste by feeding their pigs food scraps from local companies that would otherwise have gone to the landfill.

Event: PACT food from foraging walk

As you will know from reading my blog I’m a big fan of foraging for free food. If you are unsure what to look for or how to go about it, this great free guided walk will teach you some of the basics. The walks last around two hours around New River and Manor House. There will be plenty of wildlife and plants to see too. Runs from 2 – 4 pm.
